Oknha Sorn Sokna
Chairman

Oknha Sorn Sokna was the Co-Founder of Sokimex Group, and he had been a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Administration and Investment and International Cooperation) of Sokimex Group for more than 18 years. He currently serves as vice President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (since 1999) and First Vice-President of the Cambodia Chamber of Professionals and Micro Enterprises (since 2006).

He is the Founder and Chairman of the Financial Institute of Cambodia (FIC), Sonatra Microfinance Plc and Sonatra Securities Plc.

Oknha Sorn Sokna holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Charles Sturt University, NSW- Australia in 2003. He also holds a Master of Economics from The Russian Academy of Economics - G.V. Plekhanova in 1994. He is an Honorary Fellow Member of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization (AFEO) in 2004 in Singapore. He is a Professional Engineer of the Board Engineer of Cambodia in 2003 and he was also awarded the status of ASEAN Engineer by the committee of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO) in 2003 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Oknha Sorn Sokna has a great deal of experience in purchasing Bonds from New South Wales Treasury in Sydney, Australia. He has also been trading in Shares and Foreign Exchange and Cash Management in Australia since 2003.

Oknha Sorn Sokna has attended in various seminars and courses in Share Trading and Investment at securities brokerage companies in Melbourne, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, etc. He has also attended in courses in Stock Market Investment at Wealth Within Institute and Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia.
